Position Description
The Cancer Center Social Worker III develops and maintains a comprehensive program of services for cancer patients and their families and aids in the adjustment to living with a chronic and life threatening illness. The individual is responsible for assessment and intervention to meet the biopsychosocial needs of cancer patients and their families in the outpatient setting. The position includes advocacy, community education, counseling/therapy, research, program development and evaluation and any other assigned responsibilities relating to oncologyand social work. The position requires a significant degree of independence and ability to make professional decisions .
Position Requirements
Masters of Social Work, Counseling or an equivalent Masters in counseling human resources. 5 years of experience and a minimum of 3 years of experience in an oncology setting.
Preferred Requirements
Three five years post Master's degree experience preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
