5 Quick Apply Full-time 13 hours ago Full Job Description The Business Development Specialist is responsible for cultivating new surface transportation, warehousing, distribution and international logistic opportunities with new and existing customers.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Scheduling appointments and meeting with existing and potential new customers to determine customer needs and offering methods to meet those needs.
Effective planning and designing of professional demonstrations or presentations to conduct in-person sales meetings with existing or potential customers.
Liaising between the company and the customers for up-to-date conditions on pricing and services.
Continuously updating customers on company changes in services offered and providing quotes.
Maintaining professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to portray the company in a positive manner.
Enhancing up-to-date knowledge on new services, procedures, and tools by attending departmental meetings, conferences, and trade shows.
Use of marketing data to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency by using relevant sales management tools.
Preparing sales reports and maintaining expense accounts.
Performing updates and maintenance of customer accounts including contact names and numbers for future sales opportunities.
Manage customer expectations, contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction and operational excellence Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions Work closely with internal operations team to ensure growth of new and existing business.
Support key customer relationships and direct participant in quarterly business reviews Continuously update and maintain notes and progress on prospects, customers, and sales funnel in CRM Competencies:

Experience:
Bachelor's Degree and two (2) or more years of experience in key areas of sales and strategic growth.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
