The East Central Health District is the lead agency entrusted by the people of the state of Georgia with the ultimate responsibility for the health of communities and the entire population.
The agency is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Public Health RN for our Children's medical Services at our District office.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Identify high risk populations and tailor interventions based on the needs of the population and resources available.
Provide home visiting services to identify, assess and provide care coordination services to eligible infants and children at risk for poor health and developmental outcomes.
Coordinates program services with other service providers and community organizations to promote optimal implementation.
Screen and refer clients to other community service providers.
Provide referral/linkage for children and families with identified medical and environmental risks/needs to appropriate services; monitoring per program guidelines, educational instruction and materials to promote wellness, safety, child development and disease prevention.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of client's health care needs.
Develop plans of care for individuals, families and populations.
Modify treatment plans as indicated by client's responses and conditions.
Provide health education instruction and/or classes to individuals, and families, for the promotion and maintenance of health.
Promote all Child Health programs through community engagement and outreach events.
Develop and sustain community partnerships.
Participate in drills and exercises on pandemic influenza, mass sheltering and mass dispensing.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university AND current Georgia license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse AND CPR certification, OR Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND One year of nursing experience AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification.

Public Health and home visiting experiencePediatric experience, preferably those with special health care needsFamiliar with M&M and SendSS softwareMust have the ability to work independently, be self-motivated and have exceptional time-management, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Maintain knowledge of and seek out new community resources.
Have reliable transportation.
Travel is reimbursed at the State of Georgia mileage rate.
The East Central Health District services 13 counties.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
