Responsibilities:
Monitor and direct a high-volume mental health access line of individuals who are seeking mental health support Answer multi-line phone systems.
Screen and schedule patients appropriately based on their specific needs in a professional and courteous manner.
Data entry into EHR systems in a timely and accurate manner Monitor multiple systems at once.
Provide patients with support and guidance as needed.
Maintain professional behavior.
Maintain positive working relationships with all IPS staff.
The Intake Coordinator will assume tasks, duties, and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or designated IPS staff.
The Intake Coordinator shall work the number of assigned hours per week and make use of any downtime in the best interest of IPS.
Requirements:
High School diploma with a minimum of two years experience in medical practice Bilingual is a plus but not a requirement.
Ability to effectively triage calls from patients to ensure appropriate scheduling.
Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work as a team member Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Empathetic personality giving attention to patient's needs and concerns Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to maintain productivity in remote settings under minimal supervision Typical working demands:
This position will be primarily remote and will be heavily based on technology, including but not limited to computer, web applications, and phone.
This position requires:
Sitting and looking at a computer for long periods of time.
The ability to hear a normal range of voice.
The ability to prepare written reports and use telephone equipment.
What we offer:
A competitive rate ranging between $17- $20 an hour Potential for full-time employment with benefits after 6-8 weeks Consistent schedule:
Monday-Friday 4pm-7pm IPS will supply the required technology for the position, laptop, headset, phone, etc.
The employee will be responsible for a remote working office space.
