Mechanic HelperThe Mechanic Helper assist the Mechanic who diagnoses mechanical failures and makes needed repairs to industrial mechanical equipment.
Duties include providing mechanical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial environment.
This is accomplished by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities.
Other duties may be assigned.
Responsibilities Assists with Troubleshooting, repairs and installs industrial mechanical equipment.
Assists with all Tests, repairs or installs mechanical units, such as water pumps, fuel pumps, governors, distributors, carburetors systems, brakes, clutches and other such devices.
Replaces bearings, chains, sprockets and a variety of other machine parts.
Rebuilds pumps, cylinders, and various mechanical equipment as necessary following standard operating procedure Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds, climb stairs, climb ladders, and stand for long periods of time.
Must be capable of working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education - no minimum education requirements.
Experience - 1 to 2 years of mechanical experience.
Must pass drug screen and background check, as a condition of employment.
There is no Per Diem and no relocation funding.
