We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Laborer to join our team in Augusta, GA! The General Laborer will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, assisting with various tasks on the project site, and providing essential support to the team.
The ideal candidate should be willing to learn, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced construction environment.
Pay:
$16-$17/hr (based on experience) Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 6 am - 5 pm (10 hour days) 3-day weekend!
Benefits:

Responsibilities:
Site Clean Up:
Perform routine cleaning and tidying tasks to ensure a safe and organized site.
Material Handling:
Assist in the movement and transportation of construction materials, tools, and equipment as directed by the supervisor.
Traffic Control:
Set up and arrange cones, barriers, and signage to ensure the safety of workers, pedestrians, and vehicles.
Assistance on Projects:
Provide support to different aspects of the project as required, including assisting with construction tasks and other manual labor activities.
Adaptability:
Be prepared to take on a variety of tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor or team leader.
Learning and Development:
Willingly learn new skills, techniques, and procedures from experienced team members to enhance overall job performance and contribute to personal growth.
Collaborative Support:
Act as the superintendent's right hand, supporting him and other team members in completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
Skills:
Previous experience in a general labor role, construction, or a similar field is a plus but not required.
Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, and operating basic tools and equipment.
Strong work ethic and willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Adaptability and a proactive attitude towards learning and taking on new responsibilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the project site.
