7K a year MSA Hospice, a proud member of the Medical Services of America family, is currently seeking an experienced Full-Time MSW for our Hospice location in Columbia, Richmond and McDuffie Counties.
Provides social work services in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment.
Works with the interdisciplinary team directly, or through coordination of team members, to provide appropriate assessment and support patients and families.
Provides assessment for normal and complicated grief and provides bereavement counseling as appropriate.
Serves as a liaison with other community resources.
Job Requirements Master's or Bachelor's level social work degree from a school of social work accredited or approved by the Council of Social Work Education.
Currently licensed to practice as a social worker in the state of GA.
Minimum of one-year Hospice experience preferred.
Valid Driver's License.
