Fort Eisenhower, GAIn this role, you will be a critical member of the team responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining a suite of DevSecOps tools and applications across a multi-cloud and on-premises environmentsThis role focuses on creating software solutions that enhance the efficiency, security, and reliability of DevSecOps processes within the enterprise, catering to user needs and ensuring seamless operation across diverse cloud platformsTasks include:
o Software Solution Development:
Analyze user needs to develop software solutions that streamline and optimize DevSecOps workflowsCreate robust, scalable, and secure applications tailored to the enterprise's operational requirements. Database Analysis and Design:
Engage in the analysis and design of databases to support the applications, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility across multi-cloud and on-premises environments. Security Implementation:
Prioritize the security of software systems and applications through the integration of security best practices and protocols from the initial stages of development.Qualifications Required:
o Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D. A minimum of 5 years of application development experience, with at least 1 year focused on DevSecOps practices. Demonstrated familiarity with key programming languages and tools, with a preference for candidates experienced in using Jira and GitLab. Software Development and System Integration:
Possess extensive experience in developing, operating, integrating, testing, and maintaining sophisticated software systems and platforms, with a focus on DevSecOps tools. User Story Translation:
Ability to translate user stories and requirements into functional, secure, and efficient code, delivering solutions that meet or exceed user expectations. Web and Full-Stack Development:
Strong knowledge of web application development, including both front-end and back-end (full-stack) development, utilizing containerized applications and microservices architecture. Programming Proficiency:
Skilled in a variety of programming languages, including TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Bash, Golang, and Python, adaptable to the diverse needs of multi-cloud development projects. Proficient in the use of shared development and collaboration tools such as GitLab for version control, SonarQube for code quality analysis, Nexus for artifact repository management, Jira for project management, and Confluence for documentation. Experienced with container registry and security platforms like Harbor and AquaSec, and knowledgeable in implementing single sign-on (SSO) solutions such as Keycloak.
