This position is in charge of processing weekly payroll for all Group employees, along with providing a variety of clerical, coordination and administrative activities in support of the Human Ressources Department.
Essential Tasks/Duties and Responsibilities:
Process weekly payroll
Perform various payroll and administrative duties, including maintenance of timekeeping systems, record, check and balance time sheets and process wage changes and adjustments for weekly payroll
Ensure all payroll and HR files are compliant to state and federal regulations
Check all personnel- related documents for accuracy and completeness
Maintains vacation requests/approvals
Calculates holiday and vacation pay eligibility
Maintains employee files and records of a confidental nature.
Answers general inquires regarding policies, procedures, and programs in all areas of Human Resources
Processes various applications, employment, enrollment, pay changes, informational and other confidential forms and records
Maintain and distribute as appropriate, policy and procedure manuals and other communications.
May assist with new hire orientations.
Any other duties as assigned.
Experience and Skills
Training/Education in Human Reources or related field strongly preferred.
Knowledge and/or previous experience in Human Resources is strongly preferred.
Detail oriented with superior problem solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities
Strong communications, analytical critical thinking and organizational skills
Ability to work independently
Excellent computer skills, including high level of proficiency and experience with

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
