Teacher, Math 6-12 (152779)
Under general supervision, assesses student s needs, prepares lesson plans, provides instruction and evaluates and completes reports on students. May supervise the work of assigned staff. This position will be located at the Augusta YDC facility.

Minimum Qualifications :
Completion of an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university and be eligible to obtain a Georgia Clear and Renewable Teacher Certificate as required by statute.
OR
Hold a Provisional Georgia Educator's Certificate in Math, 6-12 AND eligible to obtain a Georgia Clear and Renewable Teacher Certificate as required by statute.
Preferred Qualifications :
Preference will be given to applicants who possess all of the following:
A Clear Renewable Certification (T-4 or higher) in High School Math 6-12.
Prior teaching experience in a youth detention center or with at risk youth.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
