Electronics Technician for an international manufacturer with a manufacturing plant in the Augusta, GA/Aiken, SC area. That plant is profitable and growing. It has very modern equipment and facilities and utilizes program that promote continuous improvements. It manufactures non woven materials. The position reports to the Facility Manager who in turn reports to the Plant Manager. Much of the work will be done in conjunction with the Plant EE. An Associate degree is preferred along with 3
years of manufacturing plant experience. This is a direct day shift position and not a temp position or a temp to hire position. It is a new position created by the plant's growth. Must be able to work extended hours when required.
This hands-on Electronics Technician will provide technical assistance and support to Operations, Quality, Design Engineering and Maintenance to resolve manufacturing issues and drive Continuous Process Improvements. Will work in all manufacturing departments to evaluate, troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical issues on all equipment in the facility. Will be proficient trouble shooting PLC's, Drives, and other electronic issues.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Trouble shoot PLC's, Drives, etc. where needed.
Assist Electrical Engineer and Maintenance Manager on new capital, process improvement, or maintenance projects as they arise.
Assist with weekly, monthly and annual preventative maintenance items on all production equipment and document as required.
Work closely with mechanical maintenance personnel during breakdowns and improvement projects.
Assist plant operations personnel in solving complex problems and executing solutions and preventative measures.
Assist in the scheduling, coordinating and arrangement of parts, tools, and equipment as needed for specified projects.
Continuously search for new technologies that could improve the functioning of plant process control systems
Assist the Electrical Engineer in maintaining drawings, files, and other documents for existing equipmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
