Construction Project Estimator:
Full time Construction Estimator opportunity for an established construction company focusing on commercial properties. Main responsibility would support forecasting project costs for educational, healthcare, and retail construction projects. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures that comply with DOT and DOD construction standards.
Responsibilities:
Establish job estimates and cost submittals according to CSI codes
Develop business growth
Create realistic project schedules for multiple projects that are then achieved according to Microsoft Project guidelines
Documenting requests for information(RFIs) between architects and subcontractors
Preparing and reviewing submittals
Documenting and managing change orders
Tracking labor costs to remain within the budget
Effectively manage subcontractors and suppliers to achieve project goals
Qualifications
Sufficient knowledge of construction including blue prints, job take-off, estimating and submittal preparation
Four years of field experience, at least two years in commercial estimating
Competency in design-build contracts and construction
Familiarity with government and private industry contracts
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Project and Excel
Existing positive relationships with customers to impact continued growth
Skill with CAD is a plus
Willing to travel annually for recertification on estimating software
Education
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Technology, Construction Management
Accounting Minor or finance experience a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
