Process Engineer
Eco-Staff, LLC is currently hiring a Process Engineer for a company in Augusta, Ga. All candidates must have the following experience in order to be considered for the position.
Position
Summary:
To analyze and improve current technologies and production processes, and to develop, test and implement new technologies and production processes in order to ensure the long term competitiveness of the production process of the Global Business Unit while respecting the company's values and strategic pillars.
Position Accountabilities:
The following are essential job accountabilities:
Manage assigned projects under the supervision of the manager and take corrective actions when necessary.
Execute specific studies about plant performance, production capacity utilization, and the effectiveness of process improvement projects.
Identify ways to increase product yields & reduce variables costs. Utilize process models to evaluate cost reduction opportunities.
Execute test production trials in industrial plants in order to evaluate the quality of product, the capacity, the cost, or other impact on the production of the plant. Analyze and define modifications to the production process needed to produce the new product.
Provide process engineering assistance to troubleshoot operational problems, minimize unit interruptions, and maximize asset utilization
Develop PFDs, mass and energy balances, P&IDS, equipment specifications and other process design documentation.
Adhere to all plant HSE standards, policies and procedures. Participate in HAZOPs, LOPAs and incident investigations.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
The Process Engineer may work closely with the reliability group to resolve issues that affect the reliability of the equipment.
The Process Engineer may provide day-to-day operational assistance to the Units on an as-needed basis.

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
7 to 10 years of process design engineering or related experience
