Description:
This position is a casual position. The janitorial position performs daily cleaning of large facility in accordance with customer policies. Duties include, but not limited to: Cleaning lavatories, showers, restrooms, mother's room, kitchenettes, mopping, sweeping, dusting, gymnasium, vacuuming, cleaning stairwells, clean-up spills, pulling/disposing of trash, scrubbing, stripping/waxing of floors, cleaning of emergency spills in bathrooms, set up tables, clean/dust/vacuum conference & classrooms, escalators & elevators, cleaning windows/windowsills, use of cleaning equipment and cleaning solutions, wiping down furniture, moving furniture,
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent -Ability to read/complete work orders and preventive maintenance forms -Prior housekeeping experience in industrial/facility setting -Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs. -Ability to reach/lift above head level -Ability to squat, twist at waist, stand for long periods -Team Oriented -Dependable -Ability to listen and follow directions -Ability to work independently to complete task -Maintain clean work area and all cleaning equipment -Able to work overtime and nights -basic knowledge of cleaning Equipment and solutions -experience in providing Janitorial Services within an Office/facility environment -Knowledgeable but willing to train in using Buffers, Strippers, Commercial Vacuums, Shampooers, and Scrubbers and proper use of cleaning solutions.
