Supervisory Program Analyst

The Supervisory Program Analyst will perform a wide variety of assignments including administrative supervision of hybrid Title 38 Supervisory and Lead and technical supervision of clerical positions within the assigned Section. Responsible for planning, directing, and managing the integration of medical, administrative and clinical support activities as they relate to the efficient processing of Community Care workload such as the veteran eligibility identification, determination, and implementation of entitlement and the benefit delivery programs. Establishes and consistently works to improve relationships with customers, including Veterans, VA Providers, and Community Providers. Identify process and/or procedural gaps and inefficiencies using various techniques of data analysis and implement changes to improve the processes and develop standard work to ensure consistency. Runs and analyzes data to include daily workload completed, individual staff productivity for the month/week/day, and other data. Prepares and maintains data reports that are used to evaluate of the effectiveness of a program, process or an individual employee and is designed to increase the productivity and efficiency of the unit and provides these reports to management. Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-11 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-9. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. Note:

Specialized
Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-9 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
skill in adapting analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to the measurement and improvement of program effectiveness and/or organizational productivity; management principles and processes; and the analytical and evaluative methods and techniques for assessing program development or execution and improving organizational effectiveness and efficiency; present findings and make recommendations that improve data and outcomes; program review and evaluation. OR, Education:
Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have a Ph.D or equivalent degree OR three (3) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR a LL.M.; OR, Combination:
Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have an combination of specialized experience and higher level graduate education. You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
